200Hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training

This training is a combination of virtual & in-house training where 5 weekends of the training will be online and 5 weekends will take place in our studio in Dundrum. There is also the option to take the full training online live through zoom.
Take a journey with us through yoga philosophy, breathwork, postures and relaxation and become a confident, competent and soulful yoga teacher.
On this program you will learn the principles and skills to teach breathing techniques (pranayama), postures (asana) and relaxation (yoga nidra) to individuals and large and small groups. You will become familiar with the anatomy of the body and how it works in yoga. At its heart, this program will uncover why we do yoga. Underpinning it all will be the study of ancient yoga philosophy to enable both teacher and their students to live more soulfully.
The program is very practical in nature. Students will commit to homework and home practice. It is designed to take students on a highly enjoyable and life-affirming journey.

€300 deposit required to book your place (non-refundable unless the course is cancelled).

- Module 4 – Anatomy & Physiology Part 2 – Pranayama & Anatomy in Asana Workshop – Dr. Alison Clancy.
- Module 5 – Class Sequencing – Sophie Moore.
- Module 6 – Assisting and Adjustments – Dr. Alison Clancy.
- Module 7 – Yoga Philosophy & The Subtle Body – Dr. Lucy Weir.
- Module 8 – Exploring Nutrition & Ayurveda for Yoga and Health – Esther Moser.
- Module 9 – Teaching Practice 1st Community Class – Sophie Moore.
- Module 10 – Practical Exams & Graduation Ceremony – All the Team.
In this training, we explore the ancient wisdom of yoga philosophy and its total relevance to today’s life for yogis and all mankind.
Pranayama, Asana, Yoga Nidra exercises are all dealt with and teased out in great detail. We also explore workshops in inversions, handstands and headstands, restorative yoga, mindfulness and meditation.
The body in yoga examines the body systems and in particular looks at the anatomy and physiology inherent in yoga asana and pranayama.
The teacher skills and business of yoga sections look at the approaches of teachers on how to teach and run their businesses ethically.

Sample Daily Schedule
- Session 1: 11.30am – 2pm or 12.30pm – 3pm: Meditation, Pranayama & Asana Practice with Sophie Moore.
- Lunch & Self Study (Svadhyaya).
- Session 2: 3pm to 5pm or 4pm tp 6pm: Yoga Philosophy & Yin Yoga Practice with Dr. Lucy Weir & Sophie Moore.
The evening session will be made up of a 1-hour lecture on any of the below modules and a 1-hour yoga practice ( Yin Yoga or Restorative Yoga). If you miss any live stream hours, these can be made up with our pre-recorded classes on demand.
- Posture Workshop – Asana & Alignment Study.
- Anatomy and Physiology/Sequencing.
- Mindfulness and Meditation/Evening Yin or Restorative Practice.
