Dr Alison Clancy PhD, MSc, RNT, BNS, RGN, HDNS, Pgrad (teaching and learning) is currently an assistant professor in UCD. She has trained in a number of different yoga linages including ashtanga, vinyasa and forrest yoga. She first came to yoga for the physical benefits however as her body became healthier, she soon discovered that her yoga mat was a place to find a sense of contentment, self- awareness and mind body connection. She strongly believes that yoga is not a “one size fits all” practice, and that every person is on a different path. She tries to offer each person the opportunity to take that path in their own way at their own pace, to modify when needed and to honor how they feel at all times. Alison aim as a teacher is to walk with students as they discover their own personal yoga journey and hopes to nurture and encourage them along their way.
